Assignment 6 - Research for site

Poor Design-

Although these websites somewhat still work I feel that there color scheme drags them out. The lime green and bright orange lettering doesn't necessarily spark my taste buds. The green elephant is in need of a home page and not just a menu. The text used also does not work with the overall feeling of what kind of food I would be interested in eating.

Assignment 6 - Research for site

I chose to find poor design and good design within the restaurants located where I am from. 

Good Design - 

These are all examples of good design. They all have unique layouts that are easy to read. The color scheme used in each individual site flows with what kind of food they are selling. Every image used is placed in the correct spot and is effective.

Assignment 5

This assignment is brushing up on my quick mask mode skills. In the second picture I will admit I got some help from the brush tool and applied it to her hair to make it look less choppy.

Sepia

I enjoy working in Photoshop more so than Illustrator so this project came easier to me than the last. This is a picture of my dog Gia. When working on something personal it tends to become an easier assignment because of interest in the subject. There is an example of added color but in the directions it says to add sepia and adjust the contrast. Also, the selective blur picture is hard to tell from the original because the background is already blurred.

Assignment 3

Until now I had no idea concept or thought of the live trace tool. I have been using the pen tool with almost every assignment and this will save myself hours of unnecessary work.
